About This GUIX Studio User Guide

This guide provides comprehensive information about GUIX Studio, the Microsoft Windows-based rapid UI development environment specifically designed for the GUIX runtime library from Eclipse Foundation.

It is intended for the embedded real-time software developer using the ThreadX Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and the GUIX UI run-time library. The developer should be familiar with standard ThreadX and GUIX concepts.

Recent GUIX Studio Updates

GUIX Studio now requires Visual Studio 2022 for the supplied Windows build environment and no longer supports Visual Studio 2019.

GUIX Studio now starts maximized by default and correctly saves and restores window placement between sessions.

The String Table Editor button layout now scales correctly with display DPI settings.

High-DPI (PerMonitorV2) displays are fully supported, so panes, dialogs, and toolbar assets scale automatically.
